A Very Loyal Customer
Widow Fro has questions about Molly. Sniffles has an answer that technically changes nothing.

At The Soggy Stool, Widow Fro corners Sniffles behind the bar.
“You told me Molly was just a customer.”
“She is,” Sniffles insists.
Right on cue, Molly floats through the door with hearts in her eyes, a Soggy Stool shirt and absolutely no intention of leaving.
Sniffles smiles nervously. “A very loyal customer.”
Widow Fro does not smile back.
Behind the Disaster
When jealousy, insecurity and blurred boundaries collide, people often use technically true statements to dodge the actual conversation.
Honest communication means more than finding a loophole. Setting clear boundaries and addressing concerns directly can prevent an awkward misunderstanding from becoming a recurring disaster.
