Meffff Goes to Iceland
Meffff hears Iceland has loads of ice. Unfortunately, he has misunderstood the tourism brochure in the most Meffff way possible.

Meffff has heard Iceland has loads of ice.
Unfortunately, nobody clarified which kind.
What starts as a perfectly reasonable travel request quickly reveals itself to be another classic Meffff misunderstanding, leaving Sniffles horrified, Molly delighted, Widow Fro unimpressed, and Meffff standing in actual Iceland wondering where the “good ice” went.
Behind the Disaster
Addiction can hijack the way someone thinks about ordinary situations.
Places, people, money, travel plans, social events, even completely harmless words can become associated with substances or past behaviour. Those associations can feel automatic, especially when someone has spent a long time organising life around using, finding, avoiding or recovering from drugs.
That doesn’t mean every thought is a craving, but it does show how deeply patterns can become wired into everyday thinking.
Recovery often involves more than simply stopping a substance. It can also mean learning to recognise those old associations, interrupt them, and gradually build new ones.
Meffff, naturally, has chosen the less complicated option:
fly to Iceland and complain about the ice.
