No Ice at The Soggy Stool
Meffff complains that his drink has no ice. Sniffles says Molly called him cold, and Widow Fro gets the last word.

Meffff surveys his glass with deep disappointment. “Sniffles, why is there no ice in my drink?”
Sniffles explains that Molly said he was cold, so he apparently took the comment literally.
Molly flutters nearby with hearts in her eyes. Widow Fro watches the whole performance with diminishing patience.
Before the situation can be clarified, Meffff falls asleep across the bar.
Widow Fro provides the evening’s final diagnosis: “Now he’s cold, stupid, and sleeping at the bar.”
Behind the Disaster
Alcohol and other substances can impair judgement, coordination and communication. Exhaustion and intoxication also make misunderstandings easier and conflict more likely.
A person who becomes unusually difficult to wake after drinking or using drugs needs to be checked for a possible medical emergency, not simply left to sleep it off.
