Recovery Tip #1: Sleep Is Not Sobriety
Meffff sleeps for 19 hours and decides that technically counts as 19 hours sober. Doctor Goose is unimpressed by the arithmetic.

Meffff has discovered a recovery loophole. If he sleeps for nineteen hours, then technically he has spent nineteen hours sober.
Doctor Goose points out the inconvenient detail: that is not how this works.
Meffff is exhausted, caffeinated and still somehow pleased with himself.
Behind the Disaster
Sleep is important in recovery, but simply being unconscious is not the same as building sobriety. Healthy recovery usually involves sleep, nutrition, support, treatment where needed, and learning how to handle the hours when you are actually awake.
