Crank Fixes the Kettle
The kettle is broken. Crank fixes it so thoroughly that it achieves flight.

Sniffles has a small request for Crank the Meerkat: the kettle is broken.
Crank makes several modifications, adds a pressure gauge, installs wiring nobody asked for and declares the appliance repaired.
“Not anymore.”
A warning light flashes. Steam fills the room. The kettle begins making noises no kettle should make.
Then it punches straight through the ceiling like an angry metal rocket.
Crank gives the thumbs-up. “Boils faster.”
Behind the Disaster
Sleep deprivation, stimulant misuse and overconfidence can combine to impair judgement, especially around tools, electricity and pressurised equipment.
A useful check is knowing when to stop and ask for qualified help. Improving something should not turn a broken kettle into an airborne hazard.
